☆解説
“It’s all yours”　には上記のような「（道具や部屋）を全てあなたの好きなように使っていいですよ」という意味の他に「全てあなたにお任せしましたよ」という意味もあります。

オフィスでは仕事の引継ぎで重要書類や道具を手渡す時などに「これからはあなたにこの件を任せますよ」という意味で“It’s all yours”が使えます。

Quick off the mark

☆解説
陸上競技などで「on the mark（位置について！）」と言いますが、
“the mark” には “スタート地点” という意味があります。

“スタート地点” をquick （素早く）、 off （離れる）ことから、
「すぐにスタートを切る」＝「すぐに行動に移し、状況に素早く対応する」という意味で使われます。

英語で説明すると、「to be quick to act or react to an event or a situation.」となります。

☆ クリスマスやお正月などで、家族や友人、仕事仲間で集まる機会が増える、楽しい季節になりました。そこで、そういった場で恥ずかしい思いをしないために、いくつかのネイティブに「言わない方がいい」表現をご紹介しましょう。

☆You've put on weight.（太ったね）
体重や体型についてのコメントするは控えましょう。（もちろん、その人を怒らせたいと思っているなら別ですが。）　ただでさえセンシティブな話題ですから、ましてや、You're getting fat（太っているんじゃない）などは、信じられないほど失礼にあたります。

☆Your sister is so much prettier than you.（君の妹さんは、君よりかわいいね）
悪意のないコメントかもしれませんが、相手を傷つける事もあります。わざわざ比較をしなくても、妹はかわいい、ということを伝えるだけで十分です。
　
☆That color doesn't suit you. （その色は君には合わないね）
外見を悪く言うことは、その人のせっかくの大事な日を台無しにしてしまいます。その人が、服装などにお金をかけていた場合はなおさらです。その集まりの場を気分良いものにするためにも、あなたが気に入ったその人の服装や、アクセサリーを褒めてあげましょう。

単刀直入に言えば、これはかなり無礼な発言です。もし、誰かが本当に気分が悪そうであれば、Are you feeling ok?（気分はどう？）と聞くと良いでしょう。

☆公の場所でも、いつでも、プライベートの話題や、その人にとってマイナスな事は言わないほうがいいでしょう。英語の諺では、"If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all." （もし良いことが言えないのであれば、何も言うな）という言葉があります。
